Munopa competed in Springboard FutureChef in 2020. She is currently taking a gap year, after finishing her a levels, and is planning to attend Le Cordon Bleu in Madrid to study Culinary Arts.

Here’s what Munopa had to say about competing in Springboard FutureChef:

“Competitions like Springboard FutureChef have changed my life in so many ways, through the natural competition of the event I gained an ability to be confident in myself under pressure regardless of the situation. This is a skill I adapted and used in other aspects of my life. As a young person these competitions allowed me to make connections in the industry that I would’ve never had the opportunity to otherwise. If you are interested in working in professional kitchens it’s so essential to get a feel for it and there’s no better starting point than a regional/national competition like this where you are surrounded by other young passionate cooks.”
