A series of 4 live webinars will be delivered digitally, focusing on the role of a chef and careers in the kitchen. Each session building on the last to provide an overview of culinary careers.
These sessions give students an insight into a career as a chef as well as pathway information and support to give them an advantage when planning their next steps and looking for opportunities in the hospitality industry.

In this chef led webinar students will learn about roles in the kitchen from KP to Exec Chef. Bringing to life ‘a day in the life’ in the kitchen.
Webinar 2: Sectoral information – 9th June (Chef led)
Students will learn about the breadth of the industry. They will explore the vast array of sectors that chefs work in, from hotels and restaurant to sports stadium and arenas.
Webinar 3: Pathways – CareerScope, profiling, entry routes – 16th June (Chef led)
A one-stop shop for support with careers in hospitality. Students will create their own career profile for tailored support.
Webinar 4: Culture – Travel, mentoring, culture in kitchen – 23rd June (Chef led)
Hear from chefs about their career journeys, including the fantastic opportunities for personal development and travel opportunities that roles in the kitchen provide.
