After being crowned FutureChef Champion in 2020, Jodie Cochrane was offered an apprenticeship by her mentor chef Zoltan Szabo, and she quickly joined the team on the re-opening of Cameron House on Loch Lomond. Zoltan welcomed Jodie by saying, “Jodie is a super-energetic, young talent who can flourish and achieve so much under the right direction. Being her mentor for the Springboard FutureChef Competition last year was the highlight of the year for me.”
Having completed her apprenticeship at Cameron House, Jodie was promoted to Pastry Chef and had one of her signature dishes added to the menu. Jodie joined the esteemed FutureChef National Final Judging Panel this year alongside celebrated chefs Chantelle Nicholson and Jean-Christophe Novelli. Since the National Final in March, Jodie has taken up a new opportunity working with the Roux Brothers at Crossbasket Castle in Scotland.
