After finishing second in FutureChef 2016, Courtney is on her way to becoming a professional chef. She is currently studying Professional Cookery at City of Glasgow College and has been offered work experience at Glasgow Council, in addition to her work at Italian restaurant Bella Vita. She has featured in several national newspapers and on TV. She hopes to open her own restaurant in Glasgow one day.
“My long term goal is to open up my own restaurant in Glasgow. I plan to get lots of experience in different types of kitchens with different cuisines and particularly gain some experience in hotels. I would encourage anyone to get involved with Springboard and FutureChef. I now know exactly what I want to do as a career and I have the confidence and support to do it!”
