Since leaving school, Beth has been studying for the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts Chefs’ Apprenticeship. She has been on a work placement at The Art School restaurant in Liverpool, where she works mostly in the pastry section. She has continued to enter competitions and last year did well enough to reach the finals of both North West Young Chef of the Year and Young National Chef of the Year. Bethan attests that FutureChef was invaluable in opening up these opportunities and giving her the confidence to do this as a career. She would encourage anyone interested in cooking to enter FutureChef.
