Abigail took part in FutureChef BakeOff when she was fourteen, as she enjoys a challenge and wanted to demonstrate her passion for cooking on her CV. Making a mango and passion fruit curd tart, Abigail chose to use exotic flavours to create a refreshing dessert as we approach the summer months.
Offering advice for future participants, Abigail believes the most important thing when taking part in our FutureChef competition, is to be passionate about cooking, and committed to what you are making, and find a way to make your dish unique to stand out against your peers.
Having participated in FutureChef BakeOff, Abigail is keen to make a career out of her passion, working towards a Culinary Arts scholarship at Bournemouth and Poole college. Following from this, Abigail hopes to become a chef, perhaps in the industry, on a cruise ship, or even, with her determination, in a Michelin star restaurant!
