Bronwen at the age of 16 made it to National Finals for the second year running, with help from, The Plough. After being spotted by Steve Monkley, Executive Chef at Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington, at the National Final Bronwen was offered an apprenticeship at the hotel. After her trial in the Kitchen Bronwen accepted the placement and attends Westminster Kingsway College.
“The competition has given me confidence in the kitchen and taught me new skills. I am learning a lot from the apprenticeship. Thanks to the FutureChef competition I was able to meet different chefs, gain experience and at the end I came out with a great placement for my apprenticeship. Through doing this competition alone, it has opened so many doors and widened my range of future career possibilities”
Bronwen is currently working on Larder but has a passion for pastry, although this is the Industry for Bronwen she is keeping her options open for the next step in her Hospitality Career.
