Anna Carmichael

Anna entered FutureChef 2014 and made it to the National Final. At the age of 15 Anna won the National Final, impressing judges with her enthusiasm, skill and the menu choice of: lamb shoulder, pan fried lamb, pulled lamb with pistachio and mint crumb, butternut squash, new potatoes, spinach and shallot puree. She followed this with warm chocolate and raspberry fondant.

Anna learnt plenty from her time spent with her mentor - “I’ve learnt lots of new skills, such as butchering a chicken and managing to keep my work area tidy.” Since the National Final, Anna has been kept busy with school, and is currently in her final year at Bellerive FCJ Catholic College in Liverpool. Once Anna has finished school she would like to find an apprenticeship within the hospitality industry and is curious to explore pastry. Anna is willing to move away in order to follow her dreams and develop her amazing skills that won her the title of National Final Winner 2014.
